Grow, founded in 2011, started out with packing and delivering only 3,500 sample packs to play schools in the Western Cape.

Within 6 months, the company expanded its reach to include Gauteng and KZN and today Grow distributes 50,000 sample packs a year to parents at selected play schools and baby playgroups nationally.

Samantha du Plessis, the company's Founder and Managing Director, is based in Cape Town. She matriculated at Springfield Convent and then attended UCT, graduating with a B.A. Degree in English and Anthropology, and a Post Graduate in Marketing Management in 2000.

She spent a year in Canada and two years in the UK, before settling back in SA, gaining experience in Marketing, Events, Research, Client Services and Logistics.

Du Plessis is married with 2 young daughters and lives in Newlands.
